General terms and conditions (GTC)
General terms and conditions for the realization of seminars and events by Dakkord Trainings e.U., Lorenz Huber MA, Rudolf-Eisler-Strasse 9/2, 2100 Stetten
The aim of the seminar or event is to give executives as well as all persons with a professional or private interest the opportunity to reflect on and improve their leadership skills and social behavior.
The methods, exercises, training units, etc. applied in the seminar are Lorenz Huber’s intellectual property and copyrighted.
Registrations for the seminar are considered in chronological order and according to available places.
The participation fee is to be paid after receipt of the invoice by the date stated in the conditions of participation.
Unless specified otherwise in the conditions, the following applies concerning cancellation of contracts:
For cancellation up to 8 weeks prior to the start of the event, 50% of the participation fee will be invoiced. For cancellation 4 weeks or less before the start of the seminar, the full amount is to be paid.
The organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel events because of lacking interest or other good reasons. In case of cancellation, participation fees will be fully refunded.
The seminar documents provided by the organizer are Lorenz Huber’s intellectual property. Unlawful use of these documents by third persons will be pursued under copyright law.
The organizer reserves the right to change the location of the seminar also on short notice, informing the participants in good time about this change. This is not a reason to cancel the contract free of charge as long as the new location is not further than 30 km away from the original location.
The organizer does not assume the liability to maintain safety at the seminar facilities which he rents. Therefore, he is not liable for any accidents of the participants during the seminar at the rented facilities.
The organizer cannot be held responsible for any items lost or stolen during the seminar at the seminar facilities.
The organizer holds the seminar together with a co-trainer and an orchestra, unless announced and arranged otherwise.
Should the co-trainer mentioned by name be prevented through no fault of his own to hold the seminar together with the organizer, Lorenz Huber reserves the right to present a suitable replacement. This is not a reason to cancel the contract free of charge.
Variations of these general terms and conditions require agreement in writing to be legally binding.
The place of jurisdiction for any legal disputes concerning this contract is the District Court of Korneuburg.
